Water Retention And Acne
Water is one of the most important substance which our body need to survive. Water is not only essential for survival but it is also good for our over all health and skin as well. It is said that 8 glasses of water is good enough for your health and skin. But if you don’t drink enough water then it will cause many diseases. As water helps to eliminate waste and toxins from body so if we don’t drink enough water then our body cannot function properly and it leads to growth of bacteria in skin which causes acne.
Lack of water in our body causes water retention which leads to acne. Water retention means buildup of water in tissues and spaces between cells. Actually when we don’t drink enough amount of water then our tissues start storing water for survival. This storage process apply pressure on skin cells which causes closed pored. In these trapped pores bacteria with skin oil, dead cells and toxins starts accumulating which causes acne.
There are some other reasons as well of causing water retention like your diet. Processed salt causes water retention in our body as to dilute the excess salt, water inside the cells come out. In the same way excess sugar, toxins in the body and alcohol causes retention in the body.
To avoid this condition, you need to follow some rules in your life which keeps away your body from retention condition. Following are some great tips to avoid water retention condition.
Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water as water plays an important role in maintaining your skin condition. Do not replace it with fruit and vegetable juices as they cannot replace the importance of pure water.
Take fresh fruits and vegetables juices as much as you can. Carrot juice is best to maintain your skin condition. Cucumber juice is good as well. You can mix these two vegetables and drink it several times a day.
Take salt in a balance amount. Do not take too much salt in your body as it is very harmful not only for your skin but also for your heart and blood pressure.
Exercise daily at least for 30 minutes as it will help you to eliminate toxins and waste from your body.
By consuming more water, we can avoid water retention problem which not only leads to acne breakouts but it brings many more health problems as well.
