The Shocking Truth – The Hair Companies Want You Bald

If you are reading this then you are already aware that hair loss sucks. It is not just about losing your hair, it is about everything that goes with that – loss of confidence, onset of aging, perceiving yourself as less attractive. The Hair Replacement Companies are quite ready to exploit these insecurities and uncertainties and turn over massive profits every year through doing just that.

Think I exaggerate?

Consider the most common ‘treatments’ that the hair loss companies offer. Minoxidil, toupees and hair transplants. What do all these things have in common? With the possible exception of hair transplants – all these things require repeat purchases. Minoxidil works fine so long as you are on it, but if you ever stop using it it’s common for the hair you have gained to start falling out again. Toupees (however they are marketed – Strand by Strand, Hair Systems, Hair Replacement etc) have come a long way, and it’s quite possible to get a great looking toupee. But toupees have a limited life too, some as limited as four weeks! Do you really want to shell out four figures every four weeks for the rest of you life? The hair companies would LOVE you too!

The only real exception is hair transplants which are a more ‘permanent’ solution. This will depend on your surgeon and the procedure that they choose, but despite a price-tag often exceeding five figures, it’s not uncommon for a transplant receiver to have a second transplant within 3-6 years.

In other words, whatever method you sign up for with a hair company you will need to keep paying them. They make a huge profit on the first solution they offer, and then keep getting ongoing payments. The thing to remember about these businesses is that they are BUSINESSES! They are there to make money – so they want yours!
